ICPASS adopts revised IPSAS framework for South Sudan public sector reporting
Council has approved the gazettement of the updated International Public Sector Accounting Standards, with phased implementation across ministries beginning July 2026.
ICPASS regulates, develops and represents Certified Public Accountants across the Republic — safeguarding the public interest and building the financial integrity of a young nation.
A six-stage progression developed in line with IFAC International Education Standards. Every CPA(SS) earns the designation through the same rigorous route.
Register as an ICPASS student. Minimum entry: South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent.
Six papers covering financial accounting, business law, economics and quantitative techniques.
Audit, taxation, public sector accounting and financial reporting under IFRS & IPSAS.
Advanced auditing, strategic financial management, professional ethics and integrated case study.
Supervised practical experience with an ICPASS-approved training employer.
Admitted to membership. Use the designation Certified Public Accountant of South Sudan.
Updated quarterly from the membership and examinations registers maintained by the Secretariat in Juba.
